The secondary screen that meets every need
A secondary screen is the solution for windows that swing outwards, swing inwards or slide open. You determine the fastening method according to the application. Secondary screens can be installed solely as front fix, although an inventive wedging system ensures that they can be fitted either indoors or outdoors.
The neat mitred joints and the attractively-designed profiles ensure for a sturdy screen. Wedged screens should be used for tilt-and-turn windows. The door screen profile can also be selected for window screens of a larger size; this will increase the sturdiness of the screen.

Determining the location
Windows opening inwards: install outdoors; windows opening outwards: install indoors. The profiles are made from extruded aluminium, and the joints are mitred. A central horizontal profile is included at heights from 160 cm.

Measuring the dimensions
With windows opening inwards/outwards; clear openings + at least 15 mm = final dimension to be specified.
In addition, take account of sufficient space for the fastenings (24 mm). For fitting to a sliding window; specify the final measurements.

Installation
The secondary screen screen is fixed in place with clips. These clips are screwed to the frame. These clips can also serve as hinges. These must be assembled on site using the kit supplied with the screen. The pull flap is also fitted on site.
