screen door

Vaste hordeurThe traditional screen door that is rock-solid
Solid, reliable, and durable, the traditional screen door. The door's broad profiles and the internal joints ensure for its extremely sturdy and solid structure. All doors are absolutely square, as a result of which the well-known problems with jamming or dragging over the floor are in the past. If so required, in addition to the standard aluminium kickplate a pushplate can also be fitted to the door. This plate can serve as a pushplate in the middle or to the left or right of the door.
The screen door is available in a range of models, if so required with a kickplate. The 47-mm wide profile enhances the door's rugged appearance. Screen doors are also ideally suited to use as double-swing doors, i.e. saloon doors. This version offers easy use of the door from both sides. The door is available in both standard colours and RAL colours.

The standard hinged door is supplied with:
• stainless-steel grips
• closing spring
• 8-mm bottom rail along all edges
• 20-cm kickplate
• magnetic catch (6 kg)
• enamelled screw-mounted lift-off hinges.

technical information

Measuring the dimensions, swing doors
The clear opening + 2 cm. Make sure that you allow for at least 2.8 cm additional clearance on the hinged side of the door to ensure that the door can be opened perpendicular to the frame. The height of the door handle is of great importance; make sure that you measure the height precisely. Measure the centre distance from the horizontal mid-plate such that the screen door's grip will be positioned level with or higher than the outer door's handle. If the grip is just below the door handle then it will be impossible to press the handle down to open the door, and you will be locked out. Also measure any offsets in the frame, where relevant, so that these can be sealed with a sweep strip. Specify the final dimensions, the centre of the horizontal mid-plate measured from the bottom, in centimetres. Obviously the hinged side and the colour are also of importance. The door's face is the coverprofile side.

Measuring the dimensions, doubleswing doors
Specify solely the clear opening.

Installation
Position the screen door in front of the opening. Put the door on blocks of a thickness such that the door is at the correct height. Screw the hinges to the frame. Make sure that the door can be lifted off the hinges, and that the height of the grip is suitable for the height of the door handle (see measuring the dimensions).
