roller window screen Rondo
The inventive roller screen with the exclusive appearance
The Rondo roller screen is characterized by its attractive design with curves that are a perfect match in any interior. The Rondo roller screen proves that functionality and design really are compatible. The system has been designed to the smallest details, and is fitted with a 'blind' and user-friendly click fastener.
On closing the roller screen it automatically catches in the fastener. Pressing the click fastener releases the operating profile and the screen rolls up neatly into the cassette. A standard magnetic catch is also available. The Rondo roller screen can be operated from left to right, from right to left, or from top to bottom. The roller screen can fitted in the frame with a click fastening, or on the frame, with a click fastening or magnetic catch. The Rondo screen/door is delivered with a click catch. Where the width of the cassette exceeds 130 cm this catch is replaced by a magnetic catch which also then excludes the mounting of the unit on the frame.

technical information
Determining the location
For windows opening outwards: mount the roller screen's casing indoors on the hinge side or at the top. For windows opening inwards: mount the roller screen's casing outdoors on the hinge side or at the top. Consequently the system can be installed from left to right, from right to left, or from top to bottom.
Measuring the dimensions
Determine the casing side of the roller screen system (left, right, or top). Measure the clear opening of the frame. For installation over the clear opening add: 5.5 cm to the width and height. On ordering: Specify the casing and guide profile measurements, consequently not the actual width and height! The resultant measurements should always be specified as production
dimensions. Next, specify in or on the clear opening.
PLEASE NOTE: with systems installed outdoors the guide profile on the catch side may not project by more than 1 cm. This is necessary to ensure for ease of operation.
Installation
Insert the machined sides of the guide profiles through the sliding blocks so they can be fixed to the sides of the top support. Hold the entire unit in the opening and mount the roller screen in place by fixing screws through the openings in the guide profiles.
Installation in the clear opening Push the ’in-the-clear-opening blocks’ into the guide profiles. Hold the entire unit in the opening and fix the roller screen in place.
The finish of the details is certainly of importance with a designer product. The fixing screws are neatly hidden by a plastic insert.
Usually a magnetic fastening is fitted. However, in some instances this
will not be desirable. The magnetic striker plate can rust if the roller screen is mounted outdoors. A stainless-steel click fastener is then a suitable solution.
