The invisible solution with the visible effect
The Basic roller window screen is an almost invisible but highly effective solution to keeping insects outdoors. The cassette is just 38 mm in diameter, and consequently the frame is hidden by the curtains.
Moreover you can choose the colour that meets your precise requirements. You can choose between a magnetic and a tilting catch. You can opt for either horizontal or vertical installation; whereby vertical installation simplifies the operation of systems fitted to tall windows. The grip can be operated on both sides, as a result of which the roller window screen can also be fitted on the exterior of the window. Separate grips are also available that provide for even simpler operation. Since the cassette is attached to the guide profiles the screen can also be fitted to plastic frames using high-quality doublesided adhesive tape, thereby avoiding the need to use screws or drill holes.
The roller screen can be fitted in the clear opening or on the frame.

Determining the location
For windows opening outwards: mount the roller screen's casing indoors on the hinge side or at the top.
For windows opening inwards: mount the casing of the roller screen outdoors on the hinge side or at the top.
This means the system can be installed from left to right, from right to left, or from top to bottom.

Measuring the dimensions
Determine the casing side of the roller screen system (left, right, or top). Measure the clear opening of the frame. For installation over the clear opening add: 5.5 cm to the width and height. When ordering: Specify the casing and guide profile measurements, consequently not the actual width and height! The resultant measurements should always be specified as production dimensions. Next, specify in or on the clear opening.

Installation
Insert the machined sides of the guide profiles through the sliding blocks so they can be fixed to the sides of the top support. Position the entire unit in the opening and mount the roller screen in place by fixing screws through the openings in the guide profiles.
Installation in the clear opening Push the ’in-the-clear-opening blocks’ into the guide profiles. Hold the entire
unit in the opening and fix the roller screen in position. 

Important
After installation and during maintenance of the roller screen, only use silicone spray to lubricate the guide profiles. BASIC roller screens are equipped with an option providing for the ready adjustment of the spring tension after installation.


 A fibre-glass core finished with a PVC coating makes the screen stretchproof, UV-resistant, strong, and fireproof.








The extruded aluminium profiles ensure high stability and resistance to
impact. All profiles undergo a special pre-treatment and powdercoating process that renders them scratch-resistant.

A special post-tensioning correction allows you to set the optimum spring tension for the adjustment after installation.
