Plissé door XL

The Japanese method of folding for large areas
The most striking feature of the Plissé door is its screen, which folds rather than rolls up. This is also the case with the Plissé door XL. Because of the greater width, the plissé door XL is very well suited for large areas such as sliding window walls and veranda openings. With double garden doors, a double plissé screen door remains the most user-friendly solution because of the simple way the system can be operated. The most important extension is the centre pillar, which makes sure that profile does not sag. The pull profile does not automatically return to its rest position, but remains in any required position. The stabilization cords ensure that the pull profile remains vertical, as a result of which smaller children are also able to operate the door easily and safely. Plissé doors can be installed simply in the frame. The cassette can be removed easily for cleaning or for storage in the winter.
The Plissé door BXL to HXL has a width of 1800 mm and IXL to VXL have a width of 2000 mm. These can be linked together and so form a Double Plissé Screen Door.

Technical information
Measuring the dimensions 
The clear opening must be between 197 cm and 260 cm high and no more than 180 cm or 200cm wide for each section. Larger dimensions are available on request.

Installation
Cut the top and bottom rails to length and fit them in place. The Plissé door can then be fitted into the guides and fixed in place. installation manual (Dutch).

Maintenance
Lubricate chain exclusively with silicone spray. Do not use any other lubricant! Screen can be rinsed with clean water. Wire tension is adjustable.  correction manual (Dutch).

The pleated screen ensures for the high visibility of the screen. Moreover the screen is extremely stable, and very attractive. The black screen is UV-resistant and rot-proof.
