The screen is simply wedged into the window frame, and consequently screws and holes are not required. The window can be opened or closed easily with this screen. Wedged screens are suitable for tiltand- turn windows. The ingenious pull flap ensures that the screen can be removed in an instant. A central horizontal profile is included at heights from 160cm. The total thickness of the profile is just 30 mm, and consequently these screens also fit neatly behind rolling shutters. Any window sill that may be present may not project by more than 19 mm. Measuring the dimensions Check the aforementioned daylight measurements. For aluminium or plastic tilt-and-turn windows: specify the precise clear opening of the frame. The screen is wedged at the top and the bottom. For wood tilt-and-turn windows: specify the clear opening measured from the lower aluminium strip(see the cross-section for wood frames). Specify this on the order form. The screen is wedged on the left and right.
